A note about lyrics:
Obituary lyrics are a real problem. The band doesn't put them on the LPs, and the beautiful John's vocal makes it difficult to understand, what is he singing (or roaring, nevermind). To make things worse some of them are improvised... However, it is possible, and there are some people who managed to transcribe John's vocals into some sort of lyrics. Tim Mayer has put up a most complete (so far) collection which is presented here. The lyrics are nor 100% perfect - that's sure. So if you could contribute some corrections or anything of that kind, we both would be eternally grateful. If you believe some parts are incorrectly transcribed - please go on and tell us - we're only human, so we could be wrong.
